Exactly 3 Months in...How are things looking?
Navigating the return to showing up wholeheartedly and welcoming all the goodness that comes with it
Great question, even I have asked myself that question and I am happy to note that progress has been made on all fronts. I couldn't let the month of July go by without dropping a journal post, I have realised I can only drop 1 post a month a month for now so I'm showing up how I can. It has been such a rewarding month, consistency has been paying off. I have met new people and have come up with new ideas, which I look forward to executing sooner than later. Social media reception is doing well too, judging from how apprehensive people were to receive me after ghosting them. I do not sit here and point fingers or blame anybody, I too would have done the same but I am so glad that the people are warming up to Natural Tendrils again and new people are finding me on the Internet. Let's talk a bit about exposure therapy and how that has been going, do you know how difficult it is to psyche myself into making content as a mysterious babe? loool but I am doing it in bits and I quite like it so, yay exposure therapy.
Lekwa NTUTU continues to be discovered as the days go by, with people being curious about whether or not it is a book just about hair and what else is in it for them. As the title goes "Lekwa NTUTU" meaning "look at that hair" the ladies love hair so they don't think twice it is no wonder that the most apprehensive of the bunch are men, but it goes beyond hair, there are lessons in there pertaining to life, wins, losses, grief, identity and everything in between, I am grateful for every purchase, I really do look forward to when the world realises how much of a gold mine it is, it is literally hiding in plain sight. The Curl Scanner app. I wholeheartedly believe I struck gold with it as well, buy the dip! God is too good. I have to say, seeing what you build stare right back at you is nothing short of amazing. The many wonders of creating. In a nutshell, this was just me touching base with you all, wishing us all a great month of August, we are inching closer and closer to the end of the year.
